PLACEMENT NEWS: Manhattan Beach Welcomes Teresia Zadroga-Haase as New Human Resources Director

The City of Manhattan Beach is pleased to welcome Teresia Zadroga-Haase as its new Human Resources Director following a nationwide search this summer. Located in Los Angeles County, Manhattan Beach is one of the most desirable urban coastal communities in the world and is quickly becoming the southern anchor of Silicon Beach.

Teresia brings an extensive and impressive array of experience to Manhattan Beach where she will be responsible for a comprehensive set of human resources services as well as the City’s risk management program with the support of a six-member team. “Teresia is a fantastic addition to this evolving and dynamic executive team. It’s a very exciting time to be in Manhattan Beach,” commented Teri Black who led the search.

Prior to her appointment with Manhattan Beach, Teresia spent four years as Human Resources Director for the City of Stockton, operating as an integral part of that City’s Chapter 9 Bankruptcy Exit Plan and participating in the overall rebuilding of the organization. She also brings valuable experience from the Cities of Fort Bragg and Eureka and with the County of Mendocino, all following an impressive career as an IT business consultant.

Teresia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine and an MBA from California State University, Northridge.
