As we were blazing through August, the Town of Los Gatos was celebrating the arrival of Cheryl Parkman as their new Human Resources Director. Way to go Cheryl!!
Before starting in her new role in Los Gatos, Cheryl served as an Assistant to the City Manager/Employee Relations Manager in the City of San Jose. She actually spent more than 12 years in the Bay Area’s largest city. Prior to serving as ERM, she was an Executive Analyst before working her way up to Senior Executive Analyst. (We know y’all are going crazy over that valuable analyst experience. We did too obvi!).
Cheryl holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications & Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara. Cool, man.
Fun Fact #1 – this is not Cheryl’s first time in Los Gatos. She actually served as a Management Fellow in the Town way back in 2011-12.
