We could not be more excited that Melissa Tigbao is now serving as the City of Pacifica’s new Public Works Director. Before joining her new city in late May, Melissa served as the Assistant Public Works Director & City Engineer in the City of Vallejo.
Melissa brings more than 20 years of engineering experience, which includes 18 years of local government service. In addition to previously serving the City of Vallejo, her Bay Area experience also includes moving up through the ranks in the Cities of Concord, Pinole, Richmond and El Cerrito.
Our candidate earned her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from UC Davis. In Pacifica, Melissa oversees a team of 65 full-time employees plus substantial operating and capital budgets.
