We are pleased to celebrate the City of Mountain View’s recent selection of Lauren Ledbetter as their new Transportation Manager.
Lauren joins Mountain View with over 20 years of increasingly responsible planning experience, more than half of which was as Senior Transportation Planner with Santa Clara VTA. While at VTA, Lauren managed and mentored staff, served as Bicycle and Pedestrian Program Manager, developed VTA’s first Pedestrian Access to Transit Plan, lead countywide planning efforts, and worked with engineering and project delivery staff on capital projects.
Our candidate holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from UCLA and two bachelor’s degrees from Tufts university.
Lauren began her new role in April and will play a key role in advancing the City’s strategic priorities, with a focus on mobility and connectivity, lead a professional team of four, and oversee a section budget of approximately $6 million.
