We are pleased to announce the selection of Erick Serrano by the City of Los Altos to serve as Planning Manager.
Erick is now leading the City’s Planning and Zoning Division, overseeing long-range planning efforts and current development review activities, leading a team of five professionals, and providing strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of operations.
Erick brings more than a decade of urban planning experience across the public and private sectors. Prior to his arrival in Los Altos in July, he served as Development Services Manager at Apple, Inc.; Senior Land Use Planner at Rincon, where he partnered with public agency clients; and spent seven years with the City of Cupertino where he held increasingly responsible planning positions.
Our candidate holds a Master of City & Regional Planning from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor’s in Urban Studies and Planning as well as U.S. History from UC San Diego.
