Bo Martinez to Lead Long Beach Economic Development

Congratulations to Bo Martinez on being appointed Director of Economic Development in the City of Long Beach. “Mr. Martinez has already achieved an impeccable career in guiding municipalities across the nation in strategic, equitable and vital economic development initiatives,” said City Manager Tom Modica in the city’s press release. “I look forward to his leadership and all he will bring as Director here in Long Beach.”

Bo brings more than 20 years of economic development experience to Long Beach from various public sector entities across the country. He currently serves as Deputy Town Manager for the Town of Parker, Colorado. His expansive career includes economic development work in the cities of Phoenix, Miami Beach, Broomfield, CO and the Denver area. Bo holds a bachelor’s degree in History and a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning both from the University of Colorado.
