Emergency Preparedness Month is a perfect time to celebrate the City of Escondido’s selection of Nicholas Thomlison to serve as their new Emergency Preparedness Manager!!
Before joining Escondido in August, Nick was San Diego County’s Senior Emergency Services Coordinator where he served for more than five years. In addition to his local government experience, he brings valuable insurance industry experience coupled with his experience as a small business owner. And…it gets even better as Nick also served in the US Marine Corps.
Our candidate has extensive experience dealing with disasters, emergencies and crises of all types and has been repeatedly recognized for his outstanding performance in such critical incidents. Nick also holds a bachelor’s degree in public health from National University.
