What a way to start the new year…super-sized congratulations to Chris Lamm on landing the City of Burlingame’s Public Works Director job!!
Chris joined City Manager Lisa Goldman’s talented team in early January, and we couldn’t be more excited about this new addition to her team. Prior to arriving in Burlingame, Chris served as Public Works Director / City Engineer in the City of Scotts Valley and Assistant Public Works Director / City Engineer in the City of Menlo Park. His strong engineering background also includes holding engineering management positions in the City of Los Altos, San Jose State University, and the City of Santa Monica after beginning his career in the private sector.
Our candidate holds an MBA from the University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Santa Clara University.
Upon making her announcement, Goldman stated, “I’m excited to welcome Chris Lamm to the Burlingame team. With his broad experience in the Public Works field and a can-do attitude, Chris will be a tremendous asset to the city and will help us advance many critical infrastructure projects.”
