PLACEMENT SPOTLIGHT: Redwood City Chooses Ramana Chinnakotla as its New Public Works Director

We are pleased to have assisted the City of Redwood with the placement of its new Public Works Director, Ramana Chinnakotla.

An internationally experienced Public Works Director, Ramana will soon return to the United States from his most recent assignment in India, where he helped lead the building of a new 10,000 acre futuristic green smart city. With over 22 years of experience and education in this field, Ramana is a well-regarded leader and infrastructure expert.

Redwood City’s City Manager, Bob Bell commented, “Ramana’s vast experience made him an ideal candidate to head Redwood City’s Public Works Department. A Professional Engineer, Ramana holds an MBA in Finance and General Management from Southern Methodist University, an MA in Civil Engineering from University of Massachusetts and a BTECH in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India.
