After an extensive search managed by Senior Recruiter Suzanne Mason and owner Teri Black of TB&C, the Mountain View City Council last night appointed Jennifer Logue as City Attorney.
“We were seeking a highly qualified municipal legal advisor who has strong experience with policy development and we found exactly these qualities and more in Jennifer Logue as our next City Attorney,” said Mayor Lucas Ramirez in a City media release. “Jennifer has the right combination of legal aptitude, supervisory experience and strategic management of complex legal issues to help further the City Council’s vision of Mountain View as a welcoming, vibrant city that plans intentionally and leads regionally.”
Logue is a seasoned local government attorney with more than 22 years of legal experience, most recently as the Supervising Attorney in the General Government & Finance Unit in the Oakland City Attorney’s Office, where she has served more than 13 years. She has also held positions at private law firms and at the 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. As City Attorney, Logue will oversee staff of four attorneys, two code enforcement officers and two legal support staff.
“I am honored to be selected to serve as the next City Attorney for the City of Mountain View,” said Logue. “I look forward to working with the City Council, Department Head team and City Attorney’s Office staff on Mountain View’s strategic priorities. I am eager to begin serving this great city with excellence, compassion and integrity.”
Logue has her Bachelor of Arts degree from Whittier College and her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Her first day as Mountain View City Attorney is April 18.
Congratulations, Jennifer Logue and the City of Mountain View! We look forward to watching you work!
