Santa came early last December and we neglected to share our good news! We were honored to represent the City of Burlingame in their search for a new Human Resources Director. TBC partnered with City Manager Lisa Goldman on the recruitment and her ultimate decision to make Maria Saguisag-Sid the newest member of her executive team. The candidate joined the crew in Burlingame in December.
Prior to transitioning to Burlingame, Maria served as the Human Resources Director/Risk Manager in the City of Foster City. She has a rich career in human resources and the public sector having previously served in the City of Brisbane as well as San Francisco State University. Fun fact: Maria started her HR career in the hospitality industry! It’s one of the many reasons she is so service oriented.
Maria earned both her MPA and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Francisco State University. In addition, she is a Senior Certified Professional by IPMA-HR. Well done, Maria!
