Join us in congratulating Steven Castile on being selected Palo Alto’s Assistant Director – Community Services for Open Space, Parks & Golf.
Bringing more than 20 years of management experience to the City of Palo Alto, Steven has thrived in the parks profession serving agencies in the Bay Area. Before starting his new job this week, he was Chief of Parks Operations with the East Bay Regional Park District for more than 8 years. Prior to his time in the East Bay, he held several positions with the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department. Steven earned his Bachelor’s degree in Plant Science from the University of California at Davis and holds numerous professional certifications.
