The City of Escondido has selected Angela Morrow, PE to serve as its next Director of Utilities. Angela is a water industry veteran with 27 years of experience in water, wastewater, and recycled water and has been a member of the Escondido team for nearly 15 years.
Upon sharing the good news, City Manager Sean McGlynn states, “Angela is a leader who will ensure reliable services, innovate for sustainability, and manage the Utilities team and our resources effectively for Escondido’s future.”
In addition to Angela’s experience in Escondido and previously serving as the City’s Deputy Director of Utilities/Construction and Engineering, she served as the Water Resources Manager for the Vista Irrigation District. Prior to her public sector service, she worked for a private civil engineering consulting firm specializing in water and wastewater.
Angela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University and is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California.
