We are delighted to be part of the City of Beaumont’s pride in announcing the appointment of Christopher Ramos as the city’s next Police Chief. Prior to his promotion, Chris served as Captain in the Beaumont Police Department where he has dedicated his career for the past 19+ years. Beaumont is one of the fastest growing communities in Southern California and we were honored to partner with the City on this critical search.
Chris has a history of leading major initiatives geared toward enhancing efficiency and public safety and is known in the region as a pioneer in advancing community engagement. Fun fact – he was his department’s first community policing officer and its first administrative sergeant. Over the years, Chris has served in and supervised every major division within the department. In a word…yay!!
In addition, Beaumont’s new Chief holds a Master’s degree in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership from the University of San Diego, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and is currently completing Command College. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the California Police Chiefs Association as an Associate Director.
