We’ve all heard variations on the famous proverb “A man is known by the company he keeps.”
“You are the company you keep.”
“Tell me with whom you associate and I will tell you who you are.”
We like that last one the best, because not only are we proud of our professional partners, but collectively, they are an innovative and respected bunch, which we think reflects well on us!
In September, the League of California Cities revealed the winning cities of the esteemed Helen Putnam Award for Excellence for 2021, which recognizes innovation in 12 categories. The City of Irvine won two categories this year (Congrats, Irvine!), meaning 11 cities were honored.
And we are proud to call six of those 11 our valued clients. We’ve been able to get to know them and their leaders through our work together to find the best public sector professional for each individual recruitment.
Our sincere congratulations to our client cities, on both the award and the innovative and effective programs they have built to serve their residents.
The City of Buena Park won in the Housing Programs and Innovations category; the City of Burbank was recognized in Health and Wellness Programs; the City of Cupertino was recognized with the Ruth Vreeland Award for Engaging Youth in City Government; the City of Escondido won for Economic Development Through the Arts; the City of Pismo Beach was recognized for its CCS Partnership Intergovernmental Collaboration; and the City of South San Francisco took the Planning and Environmental Quality category.
We share with these outstanding municipalities a passion for public service that informs all of our recruitments, our professional relationships and our day-to-day work ethic. Join us in celebrating them!
