The City of Tustin has selected Kenny Nguyen, PE to serve as its next Deputy Public Works Director – City Engineer overseeing the Engineering Division of Public Works. Kenny is a seasoned civil engineer with nearly 25 years of public and private sector experience. Kenny will have the rare opportunity to overlap with the current Deputy Public Works Director – City Engineer, Ken Nishikawa, who will retire later this year.
Kenny most recently served as the Assistant City Engineer with the City of Corona and previously served as a Senior Civil Engineer and CIP Program Supervisor with the City of Santa Ana for more than 15 years. Prior to his public sector service, he worked for private civil engineering consulting firms.
Kenny holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, Irvine, and is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the State of California.
