We’re wrapping up 2024 with plenty of confetti in honor of Matthew Hobbs being selected as Director of Operations & Maintenance for the Contra Costa Water District.
Before recently beginning his new role at the Concord headquartered agency, Matthew served as the Water & Power Operations Manager for the Solano Irrigation District. He brings a unique blend of public and private sector plus military (Navy) experience to CCWD, and we couldn’t be more excited for our client to benefit from his diverse background.
In addition to his experience, Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Transportation & Engineering Management and a Bachelor’s in Marine Engineering Technology from the California State University Maritime Academy.
