Congratulations to Bill Kolb on his recent appointment as the City of Mountain View’s new Assistant Library Director. Our candidate has worked in Bay Area public libraries since 2006, with stops in Contra Costa, San Francisco, and most recently, the City of Berkeley. In addition to his extensive library experience, our candidate also offers background in logistics, journalism, and information technology.
Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in English at Cal State East Bay and his MLIS from San Jose State University. He was also a 2010 California Library Association Eureka Leadership Institute Fellow and a long-time member of the Pacific Library Partnership Staff Development Committee.
